Presented by Vonage YouthDev Solutions | Youth Month 2026 | Soweto
Vonage YouthDev Solutions presents RELIVE YOUR IDENTITY - a landmark Youth Month programme commemorating 50 years since the Soweto Uprising of June 16, 1976.
Five transformative experiences designed to immerse young South Africans in the living history of the liberation struggle. Not as observers, but as participants walking the same streets, sitting in the same circles, and singing the same songs that carried a generation through the darkest days of apartheid.
Why this matters: The youth of 1976 stood up and said "We refuse to be inferior." Their courage changed the course of our history. We owe it to them to remember, to honour, and to continue their fight for true freedom and economic equality.
Vonage has invested R300,000 to make this programme accessible. Limited sponsored seats available for qualifying youth.
Choose one event or experience all five. Each journey transforms your understanding of South Africa's liberation history.
